| (recently given a new name by taxonomists: Fargesia apicirubens) This compact bamboo is similar to F. murieliae. Many clones abound as seed was distributed 25 years ago. Is not fully hardy and to my opinion not the prettiest bamboo, either. This plant can be found in the botanical garden in the following locations:
